Take a Look

Take a look at the spectacular images with an open mind. Don't just dismiss the seemingly impossible. If your eyes aren't impaired, you'll be able to use the twin images posted to create 3D images, without the need for 3D spectacles!

Note: Nothing but colour has been added to these images. Exposure, sharpness and contrast have been improved to reveal details, but none of them have had objects or anything else added to. All photos on display have been taken from some of the millions of pictures that are available to the public as published by NASA and ESA, the University of Arizona and affiliated.

This stereo image allows for 3D viewing. Try it!

Just stare long enough in between two of the images until you manage to merge the them in the middle. It takes some practice, no doubt, but eventually you'll be able to hold your eyes in position and see the 3D image appear! Then move your eyes over all of them without losing focus, for improved viewing.

Please tell us afterwards what you have discovered in this Mars image. Note that this image isn't fundamentally altered in any way. Only size, colour, brightness and contrast have been improved or changed, some objects highlighted. Source image courtesy of ESA.

Please first think about what exactly you're going to write, be as clear as possible, write in proper English, and use spel-jackre before posting, thanks.
